Sunday, June 29, 2008Hellooooooooooouuuu!!I just baked this morning! Back to my good ol' choc chip cookies. Somehow it just lost that great taste it had the very first time i baked it. Wonder why. Anyways, last night, had a great dinner at Manhatten Fish Market at Plaza Singapura! Their fish and chips which is their signature dish starts from $9.90 depending on the type of fish you choose. I ate their "grilled catch of the day" which is dory fish. Cost $12.90 but it was good. Even their fries were good. I finished it all!! haha.. kr had their flaming platter(for why it's called "flaming platter" you could take a look at my facebook pics. =) ) Nearing the end of our meal, I was greedy so we decided to share their mudpie and man, it was DE-LI-CIOUS!!! And at a price of $6.90, i felt it was much better a choice than NYDC. I mean their mudpie was HUGE. Despite the fact that they only have 1 type of mudpie unlike nydc, I felt that MFM's mudpie really made my tummy and money happy. Hahah.. kr says MFM tastes better than Fish & Co, but I'm not in a position to comment cause I haven't eaten at Fish & Co yet. Ayways, if ever a time you go in 3s, you can try their combo for 2 cause the portion's pretty big, I doubt 2 people can finish it actually unless you're really big eaters. Yups. Oh, did I mention I took up hip hop dance lessons with Huiru recently. It's weekly on Mon for 6 weeks at Tanjong Pagar CC. Been enjoying my lessons thus far. =) Both of us decided to join this mini performance for the CC's open house or national day. It's going to be held on 3rd of Aug. Think it's going to be a pretty big leap in my life. I've always admired the way dancers are able to tell stories with their bodies and have always wanted to be part of it. Given a chance now I'm pretty sceptical looking at the way my rigid body moves. =X But I know I must give it a shot before I can convince myself whether or not I should continue in this area. =) I hope everyone's doing great! Miss my hall peeps, and SAC peeps and JC peeps. Going to work again on Mon. All my colleagues are leaving one after another. I'm just glad I'm not the last to leave. haha... My special day's coming up! Somehow I no longer have that little girl's excitment. Maybe its the age. WAHAHAHHAA. Alright! I'm going off now. Please take care everyone!!! *hugz* Friday, June 27, 2008im back!!!I didn't realise I haven't been blogging in such a LONG time until a friend mentioned it just now. Haha.. Well, i've been really quite busy with my temp job, not that it requires me to take stuff home to do but the fact that it takes up nearly 10 hours a day including transport time leaves me with almost no time to do anything else. I hardly come online anymore because there's just no time. Haha, but i think earning this little bit of pocket money is good lar. Had a mini nightmare yesterday when my tooth started hurting badly during work. Escalated to a point where i couldn't sleep last night and was really frightened that my tooth had decayed to the extent it had the last time. And that i would need to do another root canal treatment, which wasn't only a nightmare but an expensive one too. Decided to take half day off work and called the dentist in the wee hours of the morning. thankfully she was nice enough to slot me in as one of the first few patients and its my wisdom tooth that's causing all the problem!!! So it isn't the decay i thought it was. Felt relieved upon hearing it, but she warned this pain due to my wisdom tooth is gonna last a few months. My bill totalled $200 which included the x-ray, meds and a cleaning session. Super ex right. my face is still swollen. Anyways, went out with my besties on wed. Had a great time. REAllly LOVE them to BITS!! hahaha Headed to Timbre to chill. Drank strawberry daiqourie(however you spell it) for e first time. WAs so afraid i'll knock out i drank SUPER slowly. didn't finish it in the end, had to get cin to finish it for me. Wanted to go to the one where my hal band was performing but they were closed for private functions so ended up at e substation one. Well, think i'll end here. Need the SLEEP. haha gotta work 2mr.. well, night everyone! sweet dreams! |
